I recently had a 4.5 BDS installed on my 2020 4x4 and I immediately noticed that there is a slight but noticeable vibration at take off. Does not seem to do it from a slow roll or at higher speeds, just from a dead stop. Its not in the steering wheel or pedal, seems to come from the back end. Anyone else ever encounter this and been able to ID the issue?

Couple of additional details. I am running blocks, did the carrier baring drop and am running 35x12.5s

What size of carrier bearing drop are you running?

Honestly don't know, I just rolled with what the shop thought was necessary. Ill find out and give an update.

Seems to be the consensus so far. Ill have to run it back to the shop and find out.

It’s probably from the CB location. Try a bigger or smaller CB drop kit. It’s kind of a cat and mouse scenario finding the right size drop as it appears it’s different from one truck to another. I’d suggest starting with smaller seeing as no drop is best (if you can do that without vibration of course).

Thanks everyone for the feedback. It is absolutely the carrier bearing. The shop that did the install is going to make the adjustments.

I put Coachbuilder 3” shackles on my 2020 pro with 3/4 cb drop and rear vibes like crazy on take off. I’ve taken the drop spacer off added washers and taken away with no help. Any ideas?
