Was wondering if there are any concerns hooking up a viair compressor to the hybrid 12v battery under the hood? Have a 24 hybrid.

I also have a 24 Hybrid and have used the 12v battery under the rear seat to power my air compressor. Not sure if you’re supposed to but worked just fine

As long as the circuit for the compressor is fused and that battery is on a charging cycle, I don't think it would be an issue. Shoot an email to Hornblasters and they will probably know. I'm sure they have done installs on hybrids.

If you have a hybrid there is no battery under your hood. Your 12v starting battery is under your rear seat. Your hybrid battery is also under the rear seat and it is 288v and separate from your 12v starting battery.

I have the Viair 400P and I have used it by putting the alligator clips in the jumpstart terminal (POS) and ground under the hood without any issues.
