Picked up a 2020 platinum about a month ago, not really feeling much air in the ventilated seats. My wife has an Acura RDX and it actually has very noticeable air flow through the seats. Is it normal to have virtually no air flow in these seats?

Yeah our vented seats are pretty weak compared to others unfortunately. Having the floor vents blowing cold seems to help a bit but yeah they're still a little underwhelming.

The seat coolers are just fans blowing air up through the bottom of the seat. That's why it helps to have the floor vents on.

Thanks for the reply. Compared to the Acura they are very weak, just wanted to make sure that is the way they are... I usually do split the air between the dash and floor, just hoping to get some air coming up through the seat as well.

Wish we could find a stronger fan to fit in place of the OEM fan. It's on my to do list.

I put the AC on low, vents to the floor, and it works about the best it can. If you don't have any air flowing through the truck, there will be minimum flow through the seats. They are very weak fans, and I have been disappointed from day one. They are more like ball blowers, rather than ball coolers, so put the cold air on and pull your lower back off the seat... Lol no real way to put this... They suck!

Funny...The "cooled" seats in my 2016 F-150 were so bad that a twenty-something "kid" designed an adaptor for his 3-D printer to improve the performance. I paid the $100 for it and it worked...kinda. The seats when from "feeling 'nutin" to "feeling 'nutin" in the back, but the seat bottom was so cold it gave you a strange sensation like you'd pissed yourself.

The forums lit up with people complaining and Ford at some point changed their marketing to call the seats "vented" instead of "cooled". Bummer that Toyota hasn't figured it out...
