I have about lost my mind driving this truck with the whistling sound and I need some help. I have a 2018 Crewmax 4x4 SR5. Love the truck to death. But I’ve got an inconsistent whistling sound somewhere in the brake vacuum system that I can’t seem to nail down. The booster and the master cylinder were replaced about a month and a half ago. The issue didn’t start until a few weeks ago but now it’s driving me insane. I know it’s not the physical components because I’ve had it all inspected by a shop twice. The last shop I took it to looked for the noise and reached the conclusion that it is likely a vacuum leak between the booster and the firewall (?) because they were only able to hear the whistling sound from inside the truck. I watched them have a guy stick his head in the engine bay to listen for it and did it myself.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice/experience/places to look would be a huge help as I’m about at my wits end with this.
