My wife's Lexus "2GR" engine is very fussy to purge out all air bibbles after a coolant drain & refill. A large, trapped, air bubble can be catastrophic if it causes localized heating, eg near head gasket.
I've seen venturi vacuum tools that will suck out all air from coolant system and supposedly eliminate nearly all large bubbles. The concept is similar to vacuum & refill an AC system.

    > Anyone used a vacuum coolant refill on a 2.5th gen Tundra?

Tundras seem less fussy, and I've only seen Car Care Nut use a funnel , with engine running, and wait for air to burp out. Vacuum seems overkill, but if I'm buying the $100 tool for the Lexus, I may as well use it for Tundra, too.

Main reservation I have is the vacuum will collapse all the hoses and subjects cooling system & heater core to an unnatural condition. But I may be overthinking it.

Here's example of shop owner using vacuum method on a Mercedes:

Here's example of an Oemtools #24444 , other companies make them, too.
