USB music setup

    am aware that music has to be mp3 or mwav was looking for info on the best way load music on thumb drive such as do i create directories or sub folder for like oldies, rock , country etc. that the radio will recognize.

    The stock head unit does a good job of something them by title, artist or album.
    What I have done for the longest time is made folders on my USB drive:
    ABCD
    EFGH
    IJKL
    MNOP
    QRST
    UVWXYZ
    And put them in there by artist.

    I change them so often that I just throw them on and click through them but I am lazy
