I'm looking to upgrade my stock 13' RW halogens to LEDs, any suggestions to a plug and play set? Tired of the crappy yellowish look. Not looking to upgrade my headlamps just yet, they are still clean. Not sure if this is possible or how much modification would be needed to upgrade?

Do you have to remove the grill and the small panel under the headlamp casing or can you install from the inside of the motor without removing anything?

I have the VLEDS micro for now as well. nice upgrade.
iirc I did remove the panels so it was easier to install. It's pretty quick anyways.

I changed out the bulbs (high beam, low beam, fog light) from inside. I do recommend taking the battery out though . The first time I changed bulbs, it was pain because I left the battery in. The second time, once the battery was out, it went very quickly.

If the color is the only thing that bothers you, you could go with white halogen bulbs. I went with Philips Crystal Vision and they do look good. The only problem is that they don't last very long (especially for low beam). I just ordered Hikari Untra LEDs. Another good option is Nineo LEDs (I almost went with this. They are cheaper than Hikari). Both seem to have very good reviews. Both Hikari and Nineo produce 12,000 lumen and according to their reviews the beam patterns are very good.

(I am changing out only the low beam. Since I don't use the fog lights and high beam as much, I am still on the first set (Crystal Vision). After burning out the second set I bought, I will probably change them with out with LEDs as well.)

Looked at the link...WTF is the “error cancellation” that the choice is nothing or “add $30”? The site says older Toyotas but doesn’t specify what exactly that is.
Would like to upgrade the lights with plug & play but don’t know for sure what is what.
Would I need another rubber boot or does the OEM work?

Do people even read shit anymore?
It literally explains ON THAT PAGE what an error cancellation adapter is.

I didn't need an error cancellation on mine. IIRC, they come with the rubber seals. They have great customer service, so you can call them with any questions. 360-543-5700

    I’m k
Yeah they do. That’s why I asked.
When I plug in *my specific truck* and it gives me the option I’m going to ask.
If it doesn’t apply to my truck, in my mind, it shouldn’t even be an option on my order.

Sorry to be a bother to you - your valuable input really added to the thread.

I installed Hikari Ultra LED bulbs (H 11) on my truck. (I find that it is impossible to install these without taking the headlight unit off the truck. The back side is just a bit too long compared to the stock bulbs) I like the look and they do seem to illuminate quite well.
