I'm happy with my 18 Tundra but the audio kinda sucks. My truck doesn't have the JBL audio system.

I'm considering replacing the factory speakers with JBL speakers and a 300W Clarion amplifier. I don't want to break the bank. Would I bet able to tell a major difference or is not worth messing with? I'm not looking for loud music...just a crisp, clear sound.

Maybe I'm getting old but the audio coming out of the OEM speakers is a little hard to hear clearly.

Here is what I was looking at...

Welcome. You're not missing anything without the JBL system... If the SR5 had dual climate control I would have just gone that route and upgraded the steering wheel, seats (to leather), and stereo. Now I'm kind of wishing I did that anyway, but whatever. Most people here would recommend to just change out the head unit. That alone should liven up even the stock speakers. Good luck!

Does that mean changing out the navigation screen and everything? That sounds expensive!

    Welcome from CA!

I think the factory amp puts out 10w rms, so anything will be an upgrade.
It looks like a very budget friendly setup.

I was scared when i saw the 10ga wiring harness. Thats too thin IMO, but if thats what the amp recommends. I would get a better amp if i were you.
