I am still wrestling with whether I should keep this Tundy and get some beefier leaf springs, or ditch it and just go to an HD truck.

If I keep the Tundra, I think I would like to get some custom leaf springs from Alcan. I currently have Toytec shackles, but I think that I would get rid of these and go back to a stock height shackle, and just order the new leaf springs to include a 1" of rear lift that I have now. Are there good upgrades to the stock height shackles that are not longer? I have searched a bit and haven't found much. I really like the Toytec shackles - they are stouter than stock, but not so stout as to take away space for an oversized spare - but I can't go to a stock height with them.

Anybody got a good source for some beefier stock height shackles?

David at ToyTec should be able to order them for you with forum discount.

The ARB shackles do have about 5/8" lift from stock compared to OEM shackles. Not much and beefier than the OEMs.

Good to know. I can factor that into the spring build. My rear ADS shocks are only good up to 1" of lift.

I imagine that the spring maker might have some options as well.

Now I just have to decide what direction I am going to go.

Alcan will make them up exactly how you want them.
