Upgrade tail lights for the tail gate button?

Has anyone upgraded the SR5 tail lights to the the limited lights to see if you can add the elbow button feature for the tail gate?

 

There is another thread on this if you search.
There is no socket in the wiring harness on the SR5. So you'd have to find out where and how to wire it in.
Would be nice if someone figures out how to wire it in. Probably just parallel it in with the tailgate switch if you knew where to find it.
