Updating the gps.

I have a 2016 tundra running a 2015 gps. I've searched a bunch on google and found a bunch of sites that say it'll update the GPS, what guide is official?

So far I've updated entune and the CPU, now I'd like to update the gps. Thanks.

 

Never mind. I found a bunch of info on google, looks like there's not many options. I did a search and a bunch of garmin stuff came up.

 

I remember seeing someone selling the SD card to update the GPS a while ago. I just can’t remember where. Sorry not much help

 

I believe OE185 card is the latest. You can find them on EBay for approx 80 dollars.

 

Does this also update the grace note stuff?

 

unknown to me, The only thing I use on my headunit is the Navigation and stream music.

 

Same, but the gracenote would show updated pics of the band your streaming instead of stock photos.. Just would be a nice bonus, amd I know that it is sometimes a part of update.

 

Mine does show pictures of the band, not sure if it's updated though.
