Updated car play

It seams you can update your tundra car play issues with a simple thumb drive and download the newest update from Toyota, then plug it in to your truck.
Works so much better now. Total cost $4 for thumb drive, time :20 min

What car play issues are you having? Occasionally mine will act up when making/answering a call. The timer indicator moves at like half speed and the phone call is blotchy. I transfer to phone speakerphone and then back to carplay and it's fine. I'm curious about other issues though to watch out for.

 

That’s the issue, it seams to get confused when I 1st get into my truck.
Talking on your phone, then get into your truck and there’s a 10 sec delay or when you 1st get in and try and make a call mine would take up to 15 sec to figure out if it was to be a hands free or just talk on your cell.
That’s all fixed with the update.
