Under the hood

Does anybody know if there is a company that makes a plastic or metal cover to seal off where the hood latches?

 

Ok, I’ll bite: why?

 

Mainly so I don’t drop shit down there and to force, more air into the radiator, and aesthetics,

 

how is that going to force more air into the radiator with the hood closed? it comes in the front?

 

the hood dosent seal on the back only on the grill side its not much its more about looks

 

Put a tarp there when working and remove when done.

Also: on my 2nd gen, the whole front grille goes up together with hood and makes working so much easier! Not sure why they stopped this idea on 2.5gen and up.

B/c if you slammed your hood (with grille attached to it) on a 3rd gen, the entire front end would just explode and fall to pieces!

 

Agreed.
Internet once again proves, with little handyman prowess, one can make a functional alternative if off the shelf product isn't available.

 

Easy- stop defecating on your engine, no shit is going to get there and it will improve your aesthetics as well.

And also for 3rd gen owners who buy $65-70K car and do not have enough brains to look in to the manual to learn about all the features they payed for. It so much pisses me of, the stupidity of those jerks.
