Found this harness when I was pulling panels for a separate wiring job. Anyone know what this is for? Can it be repurposed? I have limited trim 2022.

    Lots of stuff!
I think some of the higher trims had rear seat heaters and ventilation is my guess. Not too sure if that harness would be plugged in on the other end?

High bred wiring would be my guess.

if the plug is on the driver side, its probably not a hybrid related plug since the fan is on the passenger side.

only real guess as someone else pointed out, it probably for the rear seat heaters if you have that option.

I have never heard of the option for heated rear or fan for rear seats on any tundra as an option. Do not think there is such an animal.

it has sumtin to do with the hybrid option, if it were for heated or fan rear seats it would be on both sides. That is still my best guess.

post this in ask Toyota mechanic the question may be answered there??:)

The future is now old man…jk…1794/plats and up have heated and ventilated rear seats. That would be my guess for the harness

Never heard of that, never seen it, and do not know of a 22 that has that? Surely someone with a 22 on here has that feature then and they can tell us all what it is for.

I’ll be darn did some more snooping and found this. Learn something new every other day.:)

“The Platinum trim takes luxury to the next level, with ambient interior lighting, premium LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated rear seats, a power-adjustable heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof and rear door sunshades.”

and that was for a 22Tundra explanation

Maybe D3 on the driver's side, C3 on the passenger side.
I can't tell how many wires the plug has in the pic.
    Yes climate controlled rear seats..
    You're welcome..

Actually, there is a fan driver side right behind the 12v battery for the hybrid.

Can confirm the D connector is for the heated/ventilated rear seats and is the bright yellow wire show in image below, provided by @1lowlife

i thought it was on the passenger side since that is where the exhaust cutout is or is there 2 fans, intake and exhaust.
