    Anyone know the name for this map light, sunglasses/taco holder, thingy? or part number(s)?
    Any time I add a bulb it blows a fuse. Thinking I'll just swap out the entire assembly, or cannibalize this one with new parts.

    Alot of them
    That is the overhead console. Try to post pics of the contacts....it sounds like some of them are possibly bent and shorting out?

    I swear I've searched "overhead console" and it didn't return anything. This time I went with just "console" and scrolled until I found it.

    The contacts aren't bent, and the reflective metal bits are missing. I think the previous owner was attempting to replace bulbs with LED (some are, some aren't) and did something. It hasn't been annoying enough the first 4 years of ownership for me to care, but now I have a reliable copilot and she's annoyed those lights don't work :)

    For anyone else looking;
    Overhead Console

    It's very easy to short a fuse when swapping out these map lights. I've done it several times. Disconnect the neg battery terminal before swapping them out & you should be fine.

    @Roman I’m looking for what I was told is the XSP edition grill. It is the same grill that @skullclown has.

    I can’t find it anywhere, is it still available?

    Steven, that's not an OEM grill

    Edit...nevermind I guess it is - never heard of or saw that before. Looks like the XSP stuff is specific to Southeast Toyota...I'm pretty sure Roman's dealer isn't SE. Either way he hasn't been on here in forever. You're prob better off buying from Sparks - they're def SE.

    Anyone know if 2nd Gen interior handles are the same fit as the 3rd Gen? At least they were gray and not eye blinding hot chrome!

    My SR5 handles are grey, so you should be able to do 3rd gens.

    I think your trim is what got you the chrome, not the year. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure lower trims get the non chrome regardless of the year.

    Yes but the ad states they are for 2007-2018 is why I ask. I don’t know the reason for the 2018 limitation.

    Maybe an ad from 2018 that they never added the new model years? Or the got info from dealership stats and they have all kinds of "doesn't fit" errors.

    ^ What they stated.
    I think the only thing that may have changed on the newer models is with the smart key (or whatever they call it) entry.
    I think that only had to do with the exterior door handles.

    The interior door handles are the same since 2007.

    Yep. The smart key FRONT exterior handles are different is the only thing

    Exterior door handle covers for the large part that is chrome but in base black are $30/each = $120.
    Exterior door handle covers for the small part that is chrome but in base black is $12.50/each for three and the the driver one with the key hole is $10.50 = $48.
    That means about $168 to eliminate the chrome and have bicolor door handles on the exterior. This is cheaper than color matched for $500 but has anyone tried it?

    DO IT. The handles didn't look super easy to take apart at a quick glance, but if they're sold in different sections... :notsure:

    I shall try once I can verify the part numbers for the matte black ones.
    FYI - it appears that chrome parts are four times the cost of the black parts. Nothing better than buying the top of the line then buying down to get rid of the chrome.

    @Roman is there a discount code for ToyotaofCoolSprings?

    I'm looking to buy the TRD skid plate and front TRD sway bar. Assuming they are available but if you have link to them, please share?

    @AzureNightmare thanks!

    So is Sparks the place to go now? Seems the only real online options besides the occasional availability of some parts on Amazon.

    I'm not sure if Sparks is the place to go, per se. I think their prices can be a bit...pricey. I know I've gotten great deals and no sales tax (if you're out of state) from McGeorge Toyota (don't remember where it's located) and Lewis Toyota of Topeka.

    That said, Adam def knows a lot more about the dealerships than I do.

    Well I just went to Spark parts to price out what I want (TRD skid plate and TRD front sway bar). Shipping is $409!!

    Likely will end up purchasing from a local dealer.

    Lol! I was going off of all the replies from you during the memorial day sales...you were on top of the Toyota parts sales & saying which dealerships you can get them from. I picked me up a rear & front TRD swaybar cause of your replies...spent more money than I would have wanted. thanks? ;) unless I'm thinking of french avocado? .....so far my memory isn't getting better with age
