I'm on an Interior Chrome Delete project for my 2020 1794, and that might be a good additional section here. There are a few parts I'll be ordering, such as black interior door handle, black outlet vent trim, and black dash center panel. Anything else that replaces chrome would be good.

Thumbs up to Cool Springs, price on OEM brake pads was the same as what O'Reilly's or Napa wanted for aftermarket. Should be here tomorrow, I ordered them on Friday. Great turnaround time.

Deleting interior chrome on a '20 1794, and I have a bit of parts confusion. After looking in lots of places, door handles 69025-0C020 and 69026-0C020 list different colors and generational models for the same part number. I need black, for all four doors. Can you help?

Looking at the ResZ Fab bumper for my 2008 but it doesn’t look compatible with my one piece bumper on the limited.

Is 52129-0C901 a chrome piece or paintable steel? Primed resin?

Yes, it is currently down until the attorneys figure out the tax situation. They're telling us it should some time this week.

Why not SEM trim black....alot cheaper than replacing parts.

This is a serious fistfight in my head. I watched the video of the guy removing chrome from a matchbox chassis, and it was awesome. If that works for the chrome dash parts, it is firmly an option to use that method to remove the chrome from the vent covers and start button, and paint everything SEM black. That can and a can of primer are on my workbench already. The cupholder trim and both pieces of shifter trim will get SEM black no matter what. The prob is whether I want everything to match together. I guess writing this out loud, I can always do the paint, and get original parts if I don't like it. I'm keeping the truck till I die (not hyperbole); so whether it's paint or original parts, the cost will even out over the next 15 years.

I hear you. I removed ALL of my dash pieces and door handles (skins only), that I desired to be black, and painted them all at the same time to maintain the “all pieces are the same black” look. I prefer the paint over the overlays all-day, everyday...

However, I will argue that going OEM is the best alternative to painting. Best of luck with your decision!

That was actually “onyx black” plasti dip... I originally did it that way just to make sure I was going to like the look… Once I decided I liked the black I removed them again, peeled off the dip, and used a matte black paint
