U0232 Code for Blind Spot Monitor

    Hi Everyone! Does anyone know what this error code U0232 for blind spot monitor mean and how to fix it?

    If you're not having any issues, clear it and be happy. U codes do pop up every so often. Just means a communication problem for whatever reason but without issues.

    Clearing the DTCs doesn’t do anything.

    Lol, well the issue is the blind spot light on the side mirrors doesn’t work. It’s nice to have the blind spot monitor help you out with an extra eye. But I finally figured it out. Somehow the plug got loose but sometimes had a connection with the pins all bent. I straightened out the pins, plugged it back in and now everything works like a charm. Thank you everyone for helping me out.

    You failed fo mention that you had a problem with the BSM.

    Based on the picture and the smashed connector it's likely your going to have to replace the connector and sensor to keep it working.
