Hello. I am Dozer and I have been on the site for years but never actually logged in. I have 2 tundras. One is a 2014 crewmax limited and the other which is my wifes is a 2016 crewmax SR5. My issue is with my 2014 tundra crewmax limited 5.7 4 wheel drive with 154,000 miles. I have not had any issues with this truck until last week. I went to work and parked the truck in my spot. No issues and no lights on. I came out to go home and started the truck and the engine, ABS, traction control, low tire, 4 hi and 4 low lights flashing, speedometer does not work, cruise control does not work and truck will not come out of park unless I override the shifter. The truck works and runs great, the lights all work, brake lights work as well as turn signals. I put a scanner on it from Autozone and OReileys as well as my own and they all said it was the VSS was the issue. I bought 2 new VSSs from Toyota and I installed them to no avail. I looked on the forum and saw that it may be the brake light switch. I replaced it as well to no avail. My neighbor has a Snapon scanner and found the code U0121 and it would not let him access the ABS codes. There are no other codes for the transmission or the engine. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know what connections were the issues? This forum is great and I always check things out on here before I buy or do anything to my truck. Thank you to all the people that help out on all the different issues.
