When I bought the truck there were some must do mods:
    Hard Toneau Cover - Done.
New Stero With Carplay - I'm addicted to carplay and wanted tire pressure monitoring. So I used the Maestro RR kit along with a DMH 2600 NEX from Pioneer.
So now I have both. But I noticed a couple odd things. The stero shows if the hood is ajar, but the one in the center of the dash does not.
On a more serious note the tire pressures all read 50. Checked with two gauges and they were actually 68-70. So I don't know if 50 is all the truck will report or if the Maestro programs a max value.

So I lowered them down to 43 until morning and thye are reporting correctly now.

Couple of pics Really like that the buttons are part of the touch screen

Question for you. When playing music through iPod/music app does your steering wheel controls work to change tracks?

mine does not with that specific radio and have searched online to see if anyone else has had this issue but have not found anything about it. Control works fine for changing radio stations just not when using music app

Yes it does. The up arrow is next track, bottom arrow is previous track.

I made no changes to the settings when programming the Maestro RR.

Thanks. I don’t have the maestro (think I used axxes), but was curious. I thought it was strange that it would work for radio but not the iPod

I tired thr Axxes on my silverado a few years back, nevergot it to work with the steering wheel.

The Maestro writes a specific program for the vehicle and radio combo, in the process you identify what each steering wheel button does. Still trying to figure out if I can customize the guage set as I would like to have trans temp displayed.

Looks great! And even though it’s smaller, I like the nearly factory seamless look you got.

I have the 8600. If they have the same options, you can get your trans temp to display. In fact, I set up a custom dash that shows trailer view, trans temp, and audio.5F96C412-254E-4BD9-B62F-E14AE3493D0D.jpg

Took a little bit of trying but I got the trans temp. For some reson it wasn't available (had an X), but then I went to guages P2 and it was available. Also became available on P1. At some point I went into tow haul mode and don't know if that triggered it, but it was still there when I came out.

I like that it can turn the rear camera on without reverse. I wired my silverado that way, then built a video switch to swap bumper with the rear of the 5th wheel.
