    So I had the shims installed along with 305/65 tires. Removed tires as they were just too much for the truck but left shims on.

    Ride in terms of smooth vs rough was fine. BUT at 26lbs heavier than stock those tires and wheels are too heavy for the stock limited suspension and generally make the handling feel less sharp. Looked bad ass but ultimately I value driving characteristics over looks.
