Did you hold it for a few seconds or just press it?

I think at a certain speed it goes back on.

Just pressed it, the dash said trac off, so assumed I was good, after a min or two it goes back off. Like the other commenter said, could have to do with speed, testing shortly.

It should do something with the first press. There's three stages, press, hold, and double hold.

It's not speed based, I have everything turned off every time I drive the truck.

Unless there's some weird shit with the 20s, I have no idea OP. Only way I know traction control can renable is with the button being pressed again or ignition being cycled.

Though OP it would be worth a shot to do what @Taco-Spike said. If you hold the button for 3 seconds one of the dash lights should turn off, that will put you into the "second stage" of turning things off. If you release the button and then hold it again in quick succession for another 3 seconds then it should just say trac off and vsc off, which is the system truly being 100% off. Maybe there's some timer for the lowest level? Worth a shot to try the other two levels of turning it off and see if that makes a difference (and for doing donuts and stuff you want it fully off anyways).

    My 2020 manual says this....

    ■ Automatic reactivation of TRAC, Trailer Sway Control and VSC systems After turning the TRAC, Trailer Sway Control and VSC systems off, the sys- tems will be automatically re-enabled in the following situations:

●When the engine switch is turned off

●If only the TRAC system is turned off, the TRAC will turn on when vehicle speed increases

●If both the TRAC and VSC systems are turned off, automatic re-enabling will not occur when vehicle speed increases.

It sounds like TRAC will reenable at a certain speed but not if TRAC and VSC are off.
