Does anyone use or suggest a turbo timer on these trucks? It always good to let the turbos cool before shutting down right? Just looking for others thoughts on the matter.

^^^^ that...these turbos are water cooled. Think the manual calls for a few mins of idle time if you just towed. idk, read the manual.

I still let it cool for a few minutes. If I’ve been giving her hell, I’ll do a 10 minute cool down.

But I believe as other have aforementioned, the turbos have an electric water pump that continues to run even after you’ve turned it off to circulate fresh coolant, not sure on the oil side if it remains running. But, hey do you.
