Good morning @ Clifton. I wouldn't take my Tundra to Meinke if you were paying for it. If your gonna get a full tune up, then I suggest taking it to Toyota, unless you know a mechanic you trust and is good. Depending on what your Tundra has been used for, I would get a transmission drain and fill or flush before plugs. I'm a .....If it ain't broke don't fix it.I kinda live by that. There are some exceptions. Like transmission, differential, and oil changes obviously. Just my .02. Good luck

@ Mike, unless you've been putting seafoam in your Tundra from the beginning, I wouldn't put any kind of additives in my Tundra. Me personally, I think your opening a can of worms.:eek2:

I use seafoam every so often in both my 2002 and 2016 Tundras. No harm, may do some good.

Is it time for a timing belt?

Lots of great advice so far Clifton. Plugs are fairly easy to check/change. When needed. I recently pulled out a couple plugs when I hit 90K. Both looked great. Going to wait a while longer before I change all of them.

Yeah, it's recommended @ 120 k. I need to get tranny done soon. Timing belt for our 2nd gens with the 4.7 is a must . I had mine done @65k when the AIP went. New water pump and timing belt.

Def do the timing belt and waterpump (you're there and it's going to save you money in the long run). If you do the pump, you'll have to drain the coolant so it's a good time to just put new in (use the Toyota SLLC). I'd do plugs (they are iridium and due every 120K) and clean the throttle body. Also get the plugs from the dealer, don't use Champion or Bosch platinum as our engines do not respond well to that. Don't worry about Seafoam or fogging the intake. I work on these every day and I can tell you it's unnecessary. And don't take it to a place like Meineke, you're better off not doing anything.
