That one is. Unfortunately I can't find the full scene on YouTube.

I love Hawaii. Definitely give it a chance.

It gets old. My wife worked for an airline, so we get flight benefits, basically if there is an open seat, you fly free. Back in the day when flights were more plentiful and not always fully booked, there were usually seats (1st class even). So, we would go places just for the fuck of it, day trips, etc. But after a while, like anything, it gets old. That's why we now own a travel trailer and do camping instead.

Ah, come on.. live a little! ;)
Mexico was safe the last time I went, and I only drank bottled water or beer there. No shitting of the pants were had!
I've been to 3 islands in Hawaii and had great experiences with the locals, most of them depend on tourists and despise the dirt bags that make people feel unwelcome.

Not trying to argue with ya, just giving my experience.

I can see that, but I love the sensation of flight. The funny feeling of the Gs as you lift off, watching the earth just fall away. Can't help it, I grin like an idiot every time.

I've noticed that the hobbies/activities I gravitate toward are all based in motion. I love driving, getting out in the SxS, liked the motorcycle when I had it, enjoyed my kayak time when I was younger (getting back to that one), etc. They all just have that kind of draw for me.

    I appreciate the experiences.

I think I'd do Belize. English speaking (I used to know Spanish but hated speaking it and have forgotten it), love tourists, and has everything Mexico or Hawaii do. I just don't have a big desire to see either place. The only thing about Hawaii that is attractive to me is the idea of a heli tour around the islands, but the cost to get over there and then the cost of the tour... yeah I would rather go other places that interest me more. Purely personal preference, and I don't mean to imply that anyone else is wrong for wanting to go to those places. Just not for me. I don't drink and I don't like hot weather.

Ahh, travel. Trips for work keep coming up and then getting cancelled. Itching to start traveling again, but the Covid protocols makes it higher risk. We had a guy get back recently after being stuck in the Shanghai lockdown for 4-6 weeks. I’d go nuts in any hotel for that long.

I’ve been to Mexico twice and gotten sick both times. That’s my least favorite destination so far. Been to other countries that you cannot drink the water or eat anything that hasn’t been completely nuked and not had any issues. Unfortunately Mexico and I just don’t get along.

Well, my neighbor who swore on Tesla ended up going with the Audi E-Trom, despite the cons. Can’t win them all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He’ll learn and be back :annoyed:

No out of country trips planned for me, but I should be hitting my two other states (and growing) once a month. I just have more drive for Vegas as that’s where my sister and family is (who I’m close with)

Range- Leas overall. A full charge (on a perfect day, no hills, no AC, no gunning it) gives him 222 estimated

OTA- over the air. Tesla pushes updates via wifi

Lol. He’s only a couple of years older. Just less things he can do via app

Right, I knew it was less range than the dual motor, etc. but I was getting at the cost. IDK what the Audit costs, but if it's less than the Tesla then that would soften the blow of the mileage for me. Give that it's Audi I bet it's not cheaper, but I quit pricing EVs a while ago. Until I can get something that competes with ICE on every metric at the same cost I'm just not gonna do it. Bah! Humbug!

Went to Belize 15 years ago or so. Learn to SCUBA and go to Ambergris Caye. The underwater landscape is beautiful there, and there are things to do on the mainland too.

At least you don't puss about and refuse to drive for fear of ruining resale. Cars are made to be driven!:fistbump:

He said he needed the room for their three kids. The Audi had a little more room.

I did a quick KBB on my soon-to-be Tesla. Even with 150 miles on it, it’s still over $70k private lol

Yeah I think it’s too early for Audi to determine their long-term costs of ownership or issues that may arise (like all manufacturers have).
Sorry for separate quotes. On the treadmill and just checking notifications

Not driving your car to keep the miles low and preserve resale is the same as not bangin' your girl to keep it fresh for the next guy.
