I’ve got today and tomorrow, then off until January.

 

Nah. Just when my normal week ended. I work day shift on the 26th and 27th to cover another guy's vacation and my normal week of days starts on the 29th. I just don't have any more night shifts until January.

 

I'm a huge fan of the S&M and Garage Inc sets. And there are a few gems in the other albums post the black album, but nothing like the early stuff. But if I was to only be able to listen to four of their albums for the rest of my days, it would definitely be the first four.

 

Jason definitely had an energy that Rob doesn't have. Rob's a hell of a bass player, and goofier than hell, but Jason was as much capable of being the front man as James. He was awesome to see on stage.

 

There's one I've never managed to see in concert. And the 2022 tour, they are playing in Eugene?!?

 

I think the reason I hate Rob is because he'd been in the band for about 10 minutes when they made the Some Kind of Monster documentary and he was in there talking about what it means to be Metallica as if he'd been a member since Kill 'Em All.

 

Yep. I agree. Garage Days is amazing but its just covers. S&M is great for what it was.

Yep. I agree again. I love Rob but Jason was great. No one could head bang like him. His energy was contagious and you could tell he was as much a fan of Metallica as a member.

I’ve never seen them either. My Bro has and says their shows are amazing. He caught their most recent tour just before Covid hit. We had tickets for Tacoma in April but by then everything was canceled. I heard they are coming thru again early next year.

Yes, they are hitting Eugene and Tacoma in the NW...I think fairly early in the year too (mid-January?). In fact, I'm pretty sure it's the exact time I'm out of town again...

 

I didn't watch much of it but I remember that specifically.

 

Is that the movie that starts with some roadie in a van? I watched about five minutes and shut it off.

 

I don't recall. All I remember is it was pretty boring and whiney for a movie about a bunch of rock stars.

Lol. The few people that I know that have owned Miatas miss have one.

Not a vehicle but something that I miss. Heck, I didn’t even own it. Just stored and maintained it for the company I worked at. My dream garage in retirement has space for one of these:

I've known a few people that have built up Miatas that were pretty amazing. I've also known a few people that fit this a little closer...

And their cars were done up like the one this guy's wife think's he drives
