Tons of these pretty flowering plants on my property this year. Nature is amazing.

 

The love for Johnny Cash is more than just his music for most. Definitely a product of his era, but also shaped it with his music and rebellion against what was expected.

I haven't heard a ton of his stuff, but most I have heard is at least tolerable and much I would say is good.

Funny enough, my favorite Johnny Cash song isn't even one he wrote, but it's a thousand times better than the original.

Though, if you want a good album/tape to listen to check out the EP "The Highwaymen" from 1985. It's a group made up of Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson. I may be biased and feeling the nostalgia because I grew up hearing that tape over and over through the years with my Mom and oldest sister who both died in the last 7 months, but I liked it before then as well.

I think it's the opposite. You don't know how good the good was until you've lost it. THEN you realize how amazing it was.

No. I was actually thinking of Stella. Today is the 2 year anniversary of losing her. So much wasted time over 13 years that I wish I had spent making her time more epic.

 

Rudy's birthday would've been June 4th... definitely not a good time of the year for either of us...

I would argue though, that I find it hard to believe that your relationship with Stella wasn't epic... especially from her perspective!!!

 

Thank you. I know that she'd never hold any of it against me, because dogs are awesome like that, but her world was so small. I could have done so much more with her, and we both would have loved it.

 

No. Every time I go to use it one of two things happens; I get all up in my feels about my dog or I plan to use it but somebody needs me to run hours out to help them get their shit together.

I really do need to get it out and use it, though. Needs to be set up so I can go camping and cook on it.

 

This is why parties are a bad idea. They have people at them. 0/10 would not recommend.

Even with family, I am out. The last family reunion we had was years ago and it was at my house. I left town for the weekend so I didn't have to deal with it.
