And whoever did the garages in this section of our neighbourhood made them nice and wide (I can change tires with two cars parked in the garage) and about 6 inches too short for a full size pickup. The extra frustrating part is some garages in other sections of the neighbourhood are obviously a bit longer.

265/70/18 Kenda Klever AT2 tires, 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers, Truxedo Pro X15 tonneau cover, Skyjacker Black Max Foam Cell rear shocks, Cali-raised LED ditch lights/mounts, RCI Aluminum skid plate, Fumoto drain valve, iBoards running board style steps
I would prefer that over my situation, but that is still definitely frustrating.

Today is buddy number 1's surgery day. He's nervous. Not a fan of hospitals. They freak him out because "hospitals are where people go to die."

He keeps it together so his wife and boy don't see the worry as much, but we talk and he says that he doesn't like hospitals.

Dude is a combat veteran, 6'2", and I'm not sure what to say/do to help him. Guess all I can do is be here?

Look him square in the eye and ask "If you die, can I have all of your stuff?" He'll live just to spite you. He'll also have a good laugh.

My friend's surgery went well yesterday. He was in some serious pain after, and coming off the anesthesia was giving him some flashbacks.

Sense of humor fully intact. For the sake of this,, let's say just name is Jim. He made the Nurses and doctors call him "Jim, the Destroyer." Let's just say they all like him as a patient.

His wife and I are just waiting for visiting hours before we go back to see him again.

Thanks for the update, I'm glad he's doing well. I'm sure they'll have the pain under control quickly.

Yeah. Apparently with abdominal surgery they pump gas into there to make it easier to keep things out of the way, so there is residual gas that causes pain.
This guy can take it. Pain is kind of a constant for him. If he gets too uppity life will knock him for it. (Same buddy that was shot in the leg on thanksgiving)

I traveled the country and used toilets in 38 different states and my workplace's toilet paper is literally the worst I've ever used.:bananadead:
