That was pretty much all my brother and I did when we were in Europe about 5 years ago.

These azzhats parked in front of us. Plenty of open beach, but they park here. They all piled out and got completely stoned on some uber stank. Since we were directly downwind from them, it wasn’t fun for us. Then they donned wetsuits and inflated a bunch of pool floaties. Now are playing in the surf. Just waiting for Darwin…

Just left my old life in munising (home of pictured rocks) of 20 years for a new one on the gulf coast of Florida.

As soon as I saw that picture I missed the view

 

So glad it's Friday. I'm over this week. Soon as my days off hit I'm doing laundry, getting my dog immunized, and heading out of town. Going to visit family out of state, spoil my dog, eat sushi, and not give a crap for a week!

 

But its only Tuesday night.

 

Yeah, my week is Wednesday to Tuesday. Work 7 days 12 hours each.

 

Well, welcome to the the weekend that nobody else has then.

 

Thank you. Still 8 hours left on shift, though. Just gotta survive it!

In keeping with the theme of the week, tons of stuff broke. I've been juggling phone calls and IMs to get info and open, update, and close tickets. Finishing this week STRONG!

 

Only 2.5 hours to go.

 

First night back to work, ugh.

It was nice to get our of town, but I missed out on sushi. Just didn't work out.

Pretty bug, but I f**kin' HATE the plant. Stupid MFing thistles!

 

So, a few days ago I scheduled an appointment with a shop to get the Falcons installed on the 19th, and shortly thereafter was able to get a hold of David Ekstrom for a set of the +2 Coachbuilder shackles. My plan is this:

• Falcons set on level, even though I prefer rake
• Shackles add 1.25" of rear lift to get some rake back
• Future bed rack and RTT will likely take away some of that rake
• Future C4 Fab Hybrid bumper should get the rake back
• When I tow my RZR (4000 lbs. at most) I shouldn't be nose high at any point

Anyone seeing a major error in my thinking? The bumper is way off in the future, but the RTT and bed rack I am hoping to do before next summer. I want to start taking advantage of my 7 on 7 off work schedule. Even if I just pop over to the lake for a day or two or roll up into the mountains to get away. My truck will be my Escape Vehicle for the times when I just want to get away.


There's a couple other threads I'm copying this post to, just because it's semi relevant to them and I'm lazy. Don't think you're crazy if you read this more than once.
