Watching a stupidly long video of a guy having a buddy dyno the Maverick. It's been full of inane chatter and useless shit, but finally they did a run for some base numbers. Torque in blue HP in red, and not too bad. There isn't a manual mode to keep it locked in a gear, though, so getting it to hold a gear for the runs has taken them 13 minutes of video. That's about 10 minutes more than needed, and there's another 12 minutes left. I'll suffer through because they say they did some tuning to it stock and got improvements. I want to see what it gets.

Not sure I understand your “make meal” vs. “for a meal” distinction. But we are not making the whole meal today. Wife just decides on tacos or whatever and grabs a bag of meat to go with it.

. All depends upon the meal. Not sure the wife has done a sous vide on them yet, but that’s a good idea.

Haven’t been able to try anything since we don’t eat meat on Friday during Lent. But it was 12:01am Saturday when I got to the kitchen so I scarfed some down still hot. It was amazing

 

Man, that looks FANTASTIC! Pretty sure I'd just nom the hell outta that and be found in a meat coma come morning.

On a positive note, my head cold finally broke last night. I feel human again!
I think the Pseudoephedrine the meth heads like helped me get over the hump, that stuff is amazing.
