It says there are 3 trucks at that discount. I'm guessing they're all non-turbo 6 cylinders with 3-speed manual transmissions, manual window cranks, AM radios, and those are probably ghosts.

I'd like to say that's because Ram dealerships are overstocked and no one is buying...but that's a problem with all OEMs I think right now with full size trucks. The local Ram and Ford dealerships are flush with trucks.

The real story is that's not much of a discount given the insane MSRP price increases the past 4+ years.

My vote is don't buy a damn thing and let the entire industry choke on inventory.

Also, the m18 Inflator is pretty darn slick. I've got two of them now - I keep one in the truck with me for when I need to air down tires. It's saved my bacon a few times. Just last week I helped drag a buddy and his trailer out of a few feet of snow - the snow was partly compacted but as soon as you broke through you just spun your tires until the frame was buried. I managed to drag the trailer out in one go after knocking half the air out of the tires. Back on more plowed roads, it took 5 or 10 minutes to air up all four tires. Works much better than the little 12v basketball inflator. And I can set the desired air pressure and just let it do it's thing, then connect to the next tire and push go without needing to adjust anything else.

 

Or just keep your current truck and put another 900,000 miles or so on it.

 

Last time I went to 5G, I jokingly asked if they would put ALL of the toppings in a milkshake if I wanted. They said sure.

I ran in to some of the kids from my neighborhood (high school has an open campus) and offered to buy them a milkshake if I could put ALL the toppings in it. I had zero takers. Kids these days…
