Yeah minocqua is not too far away. All of the northern third of Wisconsin is absolutely peppered by lakes. And yes that is the upper peninsula I'm always talking about :D

After not knowing where my shipment was for 5 days, it arrived on schedule and intact. Thanks UPS.

It is...and The Grand Tour (which is where I met those man-children.)

It's in a martini....so gin, a splash of vermouth and a lemon peal. Wife and I agree it's not a good 'tini gin; need to try it with some tonic.

Probably can't go wrong with some tonic and a muddled lime.

Yep. Just tried another James Gin flavor and it's even stronger and stranger. They're going to the back of the liquor cabinet until springtime G&T season.

You back from HI? They're saying record travel for T-day, so I hope you're out of the zoo before folks start going nuts.

I don’t envy those traveling tomorrow. I already don’t have patience for morons who walk .5mph, stand in the way, or not focus on the moving line in front of them.
We traveled last year to FL, and flew back Xmas eve. This was when SWA had major airline (tech) issues with scheduling and such. We were supposed to be home I think by 5P. Ended up home around 1A. We (I) will never travel around the holidays again.

I'll drive a couple hours to see family/friends. I'll be in SLC. It's not a terrible drive, and traffic is easy to deal with if you aren't in a rush. I don't have a deadline and I leave waaaaay early. I'll go slow over in the slow lane and let people pass. Doesn't bother me at all.

I could do that if I leave super early on the road. Covid times were the best times for road trips. I went to CA once and Vegas 2x via road trip. Made some record times.

I’m more of a get to the destination kinda guy vs putsing along and sight seeing. I kinda sight saw when I used to drive for a living, but usually nothing more than 10-15 minutes at a place or off into a sketchy Forrest road.
One time I took my van to a tire shop to see if they knew why I had weird gashes in my rear tire, like maybe a bad tire? Then a moment of clarity hit me and I remembered trying to back out of this rutted side road and smoking the tires a few weeks before hahahah

So I know all of us have differing opinions and or hot takes, and that's what makes it fun, but sometimes we all have to agree on something right? Like all of us? I'm going to attempt to unite us all together. Cashews are better than peanuts, right? Like isn't that just a fact?
