Feeling this today. Went to bed around 9:30, woke up around 12, couldn't sleep until 2:30, woke up off and on/tossed and turned from then 'til 4:50. One of you phuckers better have gotten the best sleep of your life.

Could of been me, I caught some Z's at work last night.

 

I wish I could do that. The monitoring I do has to be more active though. On nights I have set a 10 minute timer and laid my head down or kicked back in the chair before. Figured if they get mad I will just explain that I get a 30 minute lunch where I could go sleep in my truck if they'd prefer it.

That flip flop can be rough when you don't have enough time to convert. You should pitch the 7 on 7 off schedule to them. Best way to cover a position for 24/7 running.

I went to bed at 2:30 a.m. last night, not falling over drunk but appropriately doused in bourbon, and here I am getting ready for a work day.

But; cigars and whiskey with my son on a cool night with a fire pit was worth the pain today. And I get to see the grandkids today, so it'll be a good day anyway. Meantime, though... just ugh.
