That was another thing Brent had said - - don't deposit the insurance check. They'll try to wash their hands of the situation, and it'll either cost money or headache to get it right. Sad that insurance companies would do that. The checks are good to deposit up to a year after issue, and I'm assuming the claim can stay open until the repairs are done since lots of folks will be waiting in line for months anyway. My wife's can likely be done via PDR, so the check they wrote for hers is probably close to the real amount of damages; but mine's going to be a lot more - maybe more than twice as much - since it'll need body panels and paint.

Nobody got hurt and it really didn't affect our daily lives, so it's not really a bad situation. But my pretty truck..

 

That's a good perspective and I applaud you for adopting it, but vehicle damage is always a bit depressing. My worry on my truck would be the sunroof. I really don't want to play the hail game, but Mother Nature is in a mood lately.

In the end, know that we are here for you and sympathize with the crappy situation you are dealing with.

I've been wanting one, but yet another outdoor grilling item is tough to justify. A buddy of mine just grabbed a smaller one for camping that might fit the bill, though.

Sweet. I want to get a small tabletop one for camping and occasional home use.

We had two blazing yesterday. Cluck on one, moo’s on the other. They are a great camping tool.

 

So the color is "debuted" with a shitty picture in poor lighting..... I think somebody was right on the money when the name was announced. They said they expected it to be terra cotta colored. I would guess it'll be like other non-metalics/non-pearls that Pros have had. Think Cav Blue, Cement, and the Sand one. A flatter color in a muddy red-brown hue is my guess.

 

I brought Stella home. More than two weeks, and I'm still raw. I think after work I'll be hitting the videogames hard. I need to not think.

 

When I lived on my own, I would still make big batches of stuff so I could take it to work for lunches and only have to cook a couple times a week.

I know I could, because it's the only true Pro exclusive color of the Turd Gen. I don't like the 4th gen powertrain though. Mixed feelings on the looks. Definitely would not buy the Pro, and that puts me back into having to mod a truck. 1000% not interested in that game again.

 

Precisely. I would want an adapter for a big propane tank though. Saving up the Scheel's points for something like this.
