Led Zeppelin was amazing, 1977 at Capital Center in Landover, MD. Ticket were a whopping $7.50.

    The shirt.

I can't listen to Zeppelin much. The only thing that ever plays on the radio is Stairway, and it's so overplayed that my brain automatically dislikes them.

Poor thing. I (one of those cranky boomers, by the way) simply recorded my vinyl to 8-track, then recorded my vinyl to cassette, then transferred it all to MP3. The newer stuff was on CD which was ripped to MP3. This does, however, explain why Gen X'ers are always broke.

Typical boomer thinking younger generations just don't know how to use money properly while completely forgetting that they took us off the gold standard and made our money imaginary. :p

I do too. But I will admit that Stairway was overplayed by bar bands everywhere the day after it was released.

What's the difference between a fiddle and a violin?

nobody ever spilt beer on a violin.

If the player calls it a violin, you're in for a long session of elevator music. If the player calls it a fiddle, they might know how to play some good music.

Disagree. Lindsey Stirling plays a violin, and it's definitely not elevator music. :sadviolin:

I'm the generation that waited around listening to the radio so we could hit play/record at the same time for cassette tapes. :D
Then the discman came out so you bought the cassette adapter to listen to CDs in the car. :headbang:

I had the microphone from my Radio Shack cassette player up to the speaker of my clock radio to record the songs I wanted. This would have been the mid-70s.

Yup. Same stuff here. Also had a little stereo with a CD player and a tape deck so I could record from CD to tape to share with friends or listen in the car.

I might have to go to court next week. I was filling my tank today and the guy next to me was pumping gas and smoking. His arm caught fire and I ran over to help him. A police officer was in the parking lot and came running over after I helped put the guys arm out. He arrested him for possession of an illegal fire arm.

    I think we're done too.
I've got a ton of OT coming this month and also trying to build the goat barn before the snow flies. ❄️
    Plus hunting season in October
