Not exactly what one thinks of when they think of Texas. I know it's not a lot of snow, but it's much more than I can stomach without whining about it. Also, that little accumulation forces businesses and schools to close around here. Not a good look for folks in Wisconsin or Wyoming.

 

I'll trade ya. We have an incoming winter storm warning and they are predicting 7-12".

 

That busts through our 2" yearly average in a single event. If my whole family weren't in North Texas, I'd probably move south. I don't love 100°+, but the snow can fuck off.

I'd be fine if that's all the snow we got, but I can't take the heat and pissed off bugs you guys have down south. Plus, the lack of public land in TX hurts my soul.

 

I don't mind the snow but this zero or negative temperatures for 3-4 days straight can fuck right off.

 

We are pretty close to that. Tonight is the first night that it won't be in the negatives for the last 5 days.

Yeah, that's what I'd call it too. I loathe it like my ex-wife, but that kind of snow doesn't interrupt my day (other than not trying to get in 10k steps around the park down the street). Most folks around here can't drive in it, though; and that's not very Texas of them.
