I'm looking for a cover for my Tundra (Entire truck cover). I searched and surprisingly did not find any threads on this issue. I use my Truck primarily on weekends for hauling and towing our boat or snowmobiles. So it sits during the week. I have a robin that sees itself in the mirrors and windows and sits and pecks at its reflection and craps all over my truck. I put bags on the mirrors and he now moved to the rear window and craps all over the roof (looking down at the rear window) and all over the bed cover.

So I'm looking for a cover to cover it up during the week while not using it (during the spring when this stupid robin has its issue with it's reflection in my tundra windows.

Can anyone recommend a cover that will not harm the paint and work over the mirrors and antenna and not be too hard to put on and remove.

    Thanks!

I bought one from CarCovers.com maybe two years ago this coming summer. We have these trees that drop super sticky husks during the spring budding. Because of "things", that's where I have to park. Anyway, the cover that I have fits kinda tight and folding the mirrors is required. For the antenna a hole needs to be cut and a fabric adhesive "grommet" is used to keep the hole from tearing open, honestly that doesn't work too well. It eventually comes unglued due to the temperature changes. Install and removal is kinda tricky, I'm not especially tall, that's the real struggle because even at stock height the Tundra is plenty tall. Here are the only two pictures that I have of the truck with the cover on it.

The fit at the top of the cab seems kinda tight around the mirrors and I wish that it draped all the way to the ground to cover the wheels so that when it rains, the splash wouldn't soil them. I poked around for the receipt to see what I paid, but I haven't found it. It is water resistant but it still seems like a little moisture gets under it if it's torental, but that too could be from the cool wet nights and hot days. Where you live and the humidity there will be something you'll have to sort out. The paint-side is of a much softer material and I don't worry about it gouging up the finish. I thought I had something else to share queued up in my brain, but now I've forgotten.....

Thanks, I did order the Carcovers.com (I was looking at those) so thanks for your input. Crazy bird is going to ruin my truck if I don't get it covered unfortunately. After spring mating season winds down hopefully I won't need the cover. Thanks!

No worries. Glad you found something that you hope will be suitable. Not having to need it constantly will help both in the covers wear and tear, and the possibility of anything happening to the trucks finish.

The cover would not fit over the Modded smaller anntenna? I was thinking of getting one, was going to wait until I put the new anntenna on since mine is stock.

I went ahead and cut the hole so that the weight and tension of the cover would be less likely to put a permanent bend in the smaller plastic antenna after several days/weeks of it being on during the hot summer.
