Being new to this forum I am pretty sure that this question may have been answered repeatedly somewhere but I can’t seem to find any information so I’m going to throw this out as a new thread, my apologies.

I have a 2013 Toyota Tundra Limited Crewmax with the 5.7 L Flex Fuel engine. I need to replace the front struts (model 135000615T Monroe Quik Struts) and I have found the appropriate match for them, but I have another question that I can’t seem to find an easy answer for.

Attached are photographs of my existing struts and the lift plate assemblies that are installed in the truck currently.

Underneath the risers sits what appears to be a 1/2” leveling lift spacer that sits on top of the suspension strut mounts. Does anyone have a reference to where I can get them?

    Thanx

That looks like the Rough Country leveling kit. Those kits are not a 1:1 ratio. For example, a 2 i ch thick spacer will give you closer to a 3 inch lift. Honestly, spacer kits ride rough. If you are looking to level it, go with something like the Bilstein 5100's. What size wheel and tire are you running? @memario1214 can help you out with a suspension setup that meets your needs.

I really appreciate your quick reply. I’m not looking to do anything other than replace the existing components. The tires that I’m currently running are 275/65R18’s

Bilstien 5100 . Front and rear. Much better ride and get rid of any lift plates except for tha one that offsets the natural lean these trucks have, but I’m no expert just what I have done recently and truck is so planted hardly any roll in corners and no nose dive when braking- front are on highest setting.

Appreciate the insights folks, but, again I’m not looking to upgrade anything. There’s just no money for upgrades, just enough for a replacement of existing parts. Gotta get it done ASAP

Ditch the spacers, return to OEM height front and rear.

The Monroe Quick Struts are garbage, IMO, you’d be better off finding some takeoff shocks from the marketplace here or your local FB marketplace.
