Hi all, I bought a black matte trd grill with hood bulge but didn't realize it didn't have a pcs hookup, and honestly i'd rather not have it because its too sensitive even with low settings. It there something I can buy and stick on my grill, is there something I can do at home or do I have to go the dealership?

I'm pretty sure you can just turn it off in the DIC but then you get that annoying orange light on the dash and you have to do it each time you start the truck.

I think AJT sells a relocation bracket. @2020Platinum has a mod that has held up as well.

I think your better option is to keep it connected and disable it through the dealer:

What year grill did you buy? If it was for a 2020 it should work with your current sensor. Just need to swap them. I have a 2019 truck with the sensor. I bought a pro grill for a 2017. It does not have a place for the sensor but I bought the relocation bracket from AJT and it works perfect. No issues

It was for a 2020 TRD pro grill on Amazon from toyota but it doesn't have the spot for the sensor.

A lot. See my channel for all installs/mods!
Sorry guys, just seeing this...if you don’t wanna spend money on an AJT bracket, I moved mine to a different location and it’s been perfect for months now...and several of my viewers have done it now as well and not a single issue

I ended up just zip tying it to my condenser bar and it works great. I'm going to fabricate my own bracket soon.
