Tundra rear thud noise on bumps

Tundra thud noise on my new 2022 Tundra SR5… any help?

You just asked the internet to troubleshoot a sound with a one-word description. No details or information like, when it happens, what you're doing when you hear it, can you get it to recreate the sound... If you'd posted any less info, there wouldn't even be a thread here to be a smartass in.

 

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Another option is to take it back to the dealer and sell for a profit.

 

Need more info, but off the top of my head I can think of two. Tailgate rattle, and bottoming out and hitting the bump stops if you have air suspension.

 

I had the same thing, it turned out to be the spare not tight enough.

 

I tightened the bolt causing the rear thud and it fixed the issue on mine…joking. Do you have more detailed information on what you are hearing?

 

Perhaps it's the body in the bed? The sooner you chuck it in a ditch the sooner the thud will stop...

 

Dropped in to say this as well. Probably the spare tire.
