At least the repair will done to your requirements instead of some putty and spray can by the dealer.

Welcome to the site and great great-looking truck. I'd say you got a great price. I just picked my 21 DC up about a month ago... 88K miles with dealer maintenance like clockwork. Paid 28K.

    A 2021 SR5 with 88k in my area is an excellent deal at $28,000. I paid 50K for a 2021 Platinum 4WD wtih 9,000 mi last year.

Get the under carriage coated with fluid film or pb blaster surface shield, sooner rather then later VT rust is real.

Since it's a Toyota certified pre-owned. May want to ask if they will cover/include the 50k mile service.
If you don't plan on upgrading tires/wheels, you can also purchase Toyotas no patch/plug tire warranty at time of purchase.
Purchased this for my sienna and it paid for itself from a nail/flat I got on ride back home from Koons Toyota MD

Yea I saw better deals but not for the package/color that I wanted. A DC Calvary blue with all of the options but still color matched grill surround was surprisingly difficult to track down.

Yeah there's not really that many calvary blue's that are also TRD Sport. Make sure you get some pictures loaded once you bring that thing home. Congrats!

Truck is misrepresented. They sprayed the frame and undercarriage and just sprayed over a fuckton of sand so I have no idea what they're hiding. I need to pass. Shady ass dealer.

I would but I’m looking for a very particular truck. I’m not sure I can find this again but fingers crossed. I’ll keep looking; I’m looking across the entire US.

LOL I live in FL and scored a 2018 that was owned here and only driven around 6,000 miles per year. Based upon the car fax and the amount of maintenance the pervious owner did at the dealer, I'm thinking it was an older retiree. It looks brand new still. I grew up in northern NYS near Canada and don't miss my vehicles rusting away.

Although they can rust here too if you live by the salt water or load boats in & out of saltwater.

I'm glad OP did his due diligence and walked away. I am also sorry you traveled so far to be disappointed.

MY OCD is best value or deal. Color and options are much lower on the list for me than motor, transmission, drivetrain and reliability. Unless it's pink I can live with any color and other than AC and cruise control I can live without most options. It comes from growing up poor and was happy just to have any Junker car I could call my own back then.

I do have to say I do like this orange/red Inferno color. It might have been something I chose new.

Damn that sucks. At least you did your part and found it before it was sitting in your driveway.

Keep searching. The one you want will show up. Is flying out west and then driving one home an option if you find it? I'm sure there would be someone on here local that would be willing to go give it a one over for ya.

I can't tell you much anything about this truck, but I saw the listing a week or so ago. But, it's Calvary Blue and here in Arizona. Has King suspension. Here's the info.

That's a pretty solid deal considering dealerships are known to overly squeeze extra coin out of "aftermarket" add-ons. At least it's Kings and not hockey pucks on top of the black Hitachi SR5 shocks. If it's been an AZ lifer, even better for OP. Long drive home though, but you could still buy a platinum warranty for the truck (way better than CPO, imo) for peace of mind)

Lifted Trucks doesn't use spacer lifts that I've ever seen. They actually have a "Lift Shop"/4wd shop, too. Generally, though, the trucks are priced pretty high. This one isn't, so, I don't know.
They have a YouTube channel, too. Lifted Trucks

That’s a decent deal but I think I want the double cab…. I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around a tiny bed

Only 12" difference. I wished the 2.5 gen had a 6.5' and crew max but it wasn't an option. I haven't been in a situation yet where I was in a pinch because of the shorter bed. But then again, we got the bigger cab for a growing family and the bigger bed is a nice convenience for those that don't need/want the larger cab.

I ride dirt bikes a lot and sleep in my bed at the track/camping every now and then. At 6’ tall, that extra foot is a lot lol.

    lol valid point.

I take back my previous comment about not needing the longer bed. I bought an ATV two years ago and it only fit with the tailgate down. I was annoyed by that so I bought a cheap 5x8 trailer. I digress.

Yea plus I want to take my son riding when he’s old enough haha. I’ve made having a taco work since 2015 but I don’t think that’s an option anymore since I had a baby.

I'm a moto guy as well and have had a Double Cab and a now a Crewmax. I prefer the Crewmax personally. The interior space is far more important for most of my usage. I can get my KTM500 in the bed diagonally with the tailgate up or 3 bikes with the tailgate down.

I like sleeping in the bed every now and then under the softopper. I might eventually go with the crewmax though
