Hello Tundra people! I can now say I am one of you.

I bought this beaut early March. 2014 1794 with 28.5K miles. Been driving my '05 Land Rover LR3 since 2008 and my wife drives a 2006 Taco TRD Sport.

Was feeling it was time for a truck and always knew I wanted a Tundra. Have always had Toyotas in the family and never disappointed.

I got a great deal on these wheels from a small shop on Craigslist and they powder coated them black. Not planning on going crazy on suspension and big tires for a long time. I want to stick with 33's and then down the line maybe a level.

Loving this thing and now with the Falken Wild Peaks feels a bit more manly... HAAAAAH!

I really enjoy reading all of the knowledge on here; Thats how I found the place, researching my purchase.

    Cheers!

Haha! I use whatever spots are available, but prefer the Four Peaks side most of the time.

I was down in this one the other day. Normally just load up my KTM 950 Super Enduro when going out by myself. That way I can go deep in the sticks.

Welcome from CO! Beautiful looking truck. If you don't plan to lift or add bigger wheels, then I suggest you cancel your account here stat! Very few people make it without changing their trucks after being on this forum. You've been warned LOL.

Yes, I think there should be a large warning sign that says "Reading this forum can be hazardous to your wallet" I joined last Saturday with no intentions of modding my truck, which I haven't even got yet, and already my list of stuff I want to do is over $3k. It is to late for me but save yourself.

    Welcome from NorCal

    Thanks all for the welcomes!

Not saying I won't maybe level later with upgraded suspension, but the big lifts aren't my thing. I like things that can blast out in the open desert and mt. fire roads, so I won't need a full lift for that. I've kept my LR3 stock and it has been crawling and lots of off road with no problems since it was made for that. I will been modding it for a more mission oriented off road designated vehicle now that I have the tundra. I'm more of a practical over wants for cool or looks. I have made a few mods already for my needs

Still trying to decide if I should go with different bed liner or cut the mat I bought to fit better. Next is a Truck covers USA retractable bed cover with mini tool box.

Oh and it had the TRD exhaust when I bout it, so that ug is done already.

    The dogs approve also!
