Are there going to be any more firmware updates for the 2.5 gen Tundra's. I have a 2018 1794 edition Tundra and I was wondering of the 2021 nav firmware update would work with a 2018?

According the below website the 2018's have not been updated since Sept 2017

2021 radio is an entune 3.0, vs the 18s 2.0. I wouldn’t bet on the firmware being compatible.

I actually received an over the air update on my 2014 with non-JBL Entune with Nav this week. Didn’t notice anything different however.

Unfortunately, the files from the tacomaworld link did not work on my truck as those seem to be for 2019 & up Tundras. I was however able to update my system with firmware from Toyota's website that was released in 2017, the same as OP.

I guess pre-2019 Tundra no longer gets these kind of updates..
