    I sometimes get a message when starting my truck that says “front camera unavailable”. Does the factory radio have a built-in plug-in for a front camera?

    No it doesn’t, that warning is talking about the sensor for the forward collision warning system/lane departure feature.

    @TundraTex makes a kit that adds a front camera to your stock radio though!

    No. That’s the camera that is located in your upper windshield that is part of the pre collision system. You’re getting it first thing in the morning due to morning dew over the windshield.
