    Hi All,

I am starting to put some mods on my Trd pro. The first one I want to do is a spray in bed liner. I have looked at line-x, Rhino liner and a few other brands. I am about to start getting some quotes, but wanted to see if anyone else had some knowledge, prior to me exploring this. Thanks in advance!

LineX is what I had done. Did it within 3 days of purchasing my truck. The previous owner beat the bed up pretty good but luckily no dents. It looks great and the lifetime warranty certainly helped my decision. They went up and over the front bed rail too. They also pulled all the bolts rather than just spraying over them. I paid around $520 for mine. Dropped it off at 9 am. Had it back by 2 pm.

Just got a quote for Line-x in Socal. $695 for standard, $845 for premium.

    Too many, but not enough....
Just curious, whats the difference? Is one tougher than the other?

I went with Line-X on both my Tundras (2006 and 2018). Had it done very soon after getting them. On the 2006 I studied Line-X vs Rhino and found them to be very close in quality, longevity and durability. I sided with Line-X since it was easy to find local applicators with stellar reputations and I also very much liked the lifetime warranty.

I had my 2006 for 12 years and the bed looked fantastic (no defects at all even though I roughed it up several times). It did fade a bit but was only a cosmetic issue. With the 2018 I went with Premium and it looks like new today.

The premium adds a UV protecting coating and looks somewhat glossy. Supposed to not fade as quickly and wash off easier. Looks much better and worth it IMO.

That definitely sounds worth it just for the UV protection alone.

If you’re someone that has a bed cover I would think it’s not worth to get the premium since the cover is protected most of the time right?

I would get it regardless, because I like the shiny coating look vs the dryer duller look and it's easier to clean, but that's me. With no cover it's a no brainer-I hate that chalky bedliner look.

I think I would still do it for the small price difference, but that might just be me. You never know in the future if your setup would change.

This and you can't do it later or at least for that price. LineX offers Renew, a way to refresh old linings, but it starts at $300.

Satin black roof, 18” KO2’s, satin black powder coated steel rims, tri fold tonneau cover. Led lights interior, exterior. Trd pro grill. 13” ryonnair antenna. OEM LED headlights.
$625 plus TAX for LineX here in sw Ontario, Canada. I called about it a few weeks ago. Planning to have it done in the spring when the weather is warmer. If there is a premium option I’ll go for that for sure. Got a vinyl tonneau cover from a friend of mine for now..
