Short and sweet. Had new tires installed on my 07 4x4 5.7 Limited Tundra , replaced all 4 sensors for a second time and nothing has changed. Light won’t go out and ability to read any tire issues are masked from the warning light on constantly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Grant

    You have "5" sensors.

Are you using oem sensors? Also, if you’re using new sensors, you may need to bring the truck into the dealership to relearn the new sensors. Having the serial numbers on the sensors is vital too as this is needed to link up new sensors with the system.

No there is not a spare with sensor. They are all OEM sensors. And it’s like so many things we just hate to do and that’s going to the dealership. I have and with great reason considered them taboo. Jerk you around, charge you unreasonable hourly rates, deny what you’re telling them to be only user error, then bring in a factory guy to tell you it’s just poor operator habits, BS. But that’s for a separate discussion which is a long one. No thanks, if we collectively can’t get to the bottom of it we wouldn’t be digging into it now. Not to mention how interesting it is to work through it and reap the satisfaction. Thank you all for that. So yesterday Les Schwab suggested they would replace the sensors but no change. They cleared the code that was present and rescanned the code in, no change. So I’d like to inquire with anyone aware of the device that’s up under the head liner at the rear cab area. I’m trying to get any insight on this component you folks may be familiar with. I’ve looked back to find an article I thought I saw previous to joining without success. I’m currently looking into pulling the liner down and see what if anything is part of the TPMS. I shall be back. Thanks

Tool man I appreciate your response and realize there are so many variations when it comes to our vehicles, it’s crazy. I had to physically check my spare which has never been taken down from the underside of my truck. So this leaves me with trying to locate any other components that are part of the TPMS. If anyone knows or has some insight please feel free to share. Thanks
