Took my 08 Tundra to a shop for my abs/traction/4 Hi/4 Lo etc .... On or flashing and they told me my backing plate wasn't there and that is what is causing my lights, but if I am thinking is the backing plate has nothing to do with my abs/wheel speed sensor

Of note, the circled part comes off easily. Mine came off and I was lucky to find it. When you're reinserting the gear, you can use a ziptie to hold the hear in place, once you install the cover, cut the ziptie, pull it out, and then secure it to the front diff. If you need pictures I can provide some.

Thanks I'll have to try that, my lights is abs on traction on, 4hi 4 low and VSC flashing, they don't stay on constantly they just randomly come on.

When my lights aren't on 4wd hi and lo work as they should

Update, the shop I took it to is garbage they replaced the back 2 sensors like I asked but they said they couldn't do the front driver side cause it wasn't sitting right because it was missing a "backing plate" so I paid for what they did do came home slid the sensor right in the hole and no more lights (for now)
