Hello everyone! I’m new here, I came a crossed this forum seeking help about our Toyota tundra 2019 last April ‘19, done maintenance until 25k free and bought Toyota guard plan protection and used all of it. We’re at 30,060 mileages now and Toyota dealer Cumming, GA wants us to pay $862 for 30k factory service, Is that highly recommended with the price they quoted? Please help us if we have to follow dealers recommendations for Tundra 2019 30k services to be done? What are mainly 30k service for a tundra? Does anyone done 30k on their truck? Thank you for any advised and information. Appreciate it!

Probably involves a $90 cabin air filter replacement.

That’s a 30-second job. Which means you’re paying them an equivalent hourly rate of $10,800/hr.

EDIT: $60. So the equivalent rate is $7200/hr.

Overall, it doesn’t seem too terrible, honestly.

I do all that stuff myself. I’m almost at 40k and haven’t flushed brake or power steering.

I would change your oil, engine and cabin air filters. I’ve always lived by the idea that the more parts of my truck a dealer service center touches, the more issues I’m going to have.

the parts you need are extremely cheap on Amazon, especially the air filters.

Premature for brake fluid and p/s fluid replacements IMO. You don’t need an injector cleaner either.

personally, I’d change the cabin and engine air filter, oil and filter, and diff fluid if it get driven hard or off-road. Call it a day.

I'm at the same mileage and plan to do this.
    -Amsoil P.I. for the injectors.
-If your power steering is no longer red, take a syringe and suck out the old fluid. Then add new fluid. Do this every other day of driving until it's red again.
-IMO no need for the brakes to be flushed YMMV.
    -Oil and filter change
-Air filter and carbon impregnated cabin filter change sourced from local parts store.
-Im also changing the front and rear diff fluid. Yes it's early.
-May change the transfer case fluid also but have not decided.

All these things are easy to do, you can save a lot of money, and ensure it's done right, if you do it yourself.

gunning it once in a while on a freeway onramp = same thing that "injector cleaner" would do, which is essentially just a decarbonizer.

Oh, go ahead and clean the throttle body as well, 10 bucks for the can of cleaner and a rag with 15 minutes of your time.

Unless something changed - I think the factory fill on the p/s is clear even though the spec calls for Dex III. :notsure:

Mine was starting to get brownish around 55k so I changed it then.
