Tundra 2017 Limited audio question

My iPhone is paired with the Tundra and does work flawless when it comes to receiving and making phone calls. However, If Im trying to hear the audio from a video, on youtube for example, it won't play audio through the truck system OR the phone. The video is playing but there is no sound, anywhere ? Id like to be able to play it through the truck. It does the same thing if I try to listen to an audio book. Any help please ???

 

is the volume on your phone device turned all the way up?

Does it play music? through itunes or no? I'm guessing not. You need to ensure the Phone and Music note icons are on.

Isn't there a screen option to pair & choose phone, audio player, both ??

 

Mine was doing that and I had to replace the hu. It started doing strange things like that. Then nothing would work and then the next day it was fine most of the day and then stop working again. With my iPhone. Never made sense so I just gave up and put a new navigation hu in and it’s been way better.
