It took awhile with all of the cutting, glueing, and vinyl but this is how the TSS wheels should have looked from the factory! The original caps made the wheels look too aftermarket and clunky. These TRD caps are sleek and completely change the look of the wheels! Sorry for the dirty wheels:). Thoughts?

This is what it looks like once it's cut down:[IMG][IMG][IMG]
Prior to glueing it in (look closely at the gap between the cap and rim)
And finally, after gluing it in. The vinyl could have been better, but I'm happy enough with the results.

Looks good. What did you do with the original center caps?

Thanks! I am going to keep them for now just in case the Trd ones decide to disconnect due to the securing method. Did you have an idea for them?

This looks amazing! Can you take a side shot standing back of your whole truck?? I love this look interested in trying myself.

I was thinking about having 1 extra one in case I hit a crater (pot hole) in NY and it pops off without me knowing.

Here is the best pic I have for now. I’ll try to get a better one tomorrow.

Reach out to me in a month to make sure that my new ones didn't pop off and if all is good, I'll send one your way:)

@Jim LE 1301 You forgot to reach out to me bro, shoot me a PM with your address to send one of these caps. If you are still wanting a spare, that is.

That being said, the cap is still secure with no signs of wear or movement. Loving the look of it.

Man oh man, is there a more detailed write up on this? These came on my truck & I can’t decide if I like them or not. I feel like this would help me keep them because I also don’t like the center caps currently. Link to those caps? How much cutting? Vinyl where? Glued? Why?

I realize they obviously won’t just snap in as a direct replacement. Any additional info you have would be appreciated!

You'll need these. Start by cutting the outside edge off where the yellow line is here:
    IMG_4476.jpg
It will then look like this (minus the red ring):
    IMG_4450 2.jpg

Then thin it out by cutting the thick part behind the spokes and notch it to fit in the space on the wheel (this is the best pic I have since I didn't take one mid way through it):
    IMG_4451 2.jpg

    IMG_4449 2.jpg

At this point, it's all about trial and error and making it fit. It will look like this when properly fitted (notice the space between the cap and rim is unfilled)
    IMG_4445 2.jpg

Once it it fits on the wheel, you glue it on with black glue. I used permatex and kinda "grouted" it in to the channel between the wheel and center cap.

As for the red circle, I cut one out on a vinyl cutter and adhered it on the dish part of the cap. I recommend taping it off and using red paint instead. I hope this helps! It is such a sleeker and more modern look than the stock caps. I actually really like the wheels now!

Did you sell the original one, I'm have the same wheels but I'm missing on center cap, looking for it but didn't fine it. Your TDR looks fine but I don't want to glue it. Did you find other options before this. If you still have the center cap, do you sell it?

    Welcome from NY.
Which TSS wheels are you talking about? There are a few different types. Different years have different styles. Have a picture?

There are like 4 different styles. Also depends on what year the Tundra is.

It is a 2021 CM Xp package Gunner , the rim is the same you have TSS 20 inches. I'm missing just one center cap but I didn't find any replacement model.
