Switched hood bulge and surround on the grill to color match
I just bought a ‘20 tundra limited in cement. It has a lot of chrome. I’ve already started getting rid of the chrome. I’ve got the hood bulge and surround now in cement. I have the brushed chrome horizontal, limited grill with the Toyota symbol tss sensor. I was hoping to get the pro insert, however, I can’t seem to find out if I get the pro insert, will the oval tss emblem fit in the square opening of the pro grill? Or, is there a way to make that insert work? Ultimately, I want a black insert, so I may end up w/o the pro insert, and getting a regular black insert. Thoughts?

If you just want to black out the Toyota emblem you can do a vinyl over lay. https://www.tundras.com/threads/blacked-out-front-grille-emblem.72136/

If you want to replace it with pro stuff all your info is in the first post here https://www.tundras.com/threads/ultimate-oem-toyota-parts-thread.10707/

The sensor is not part of the oval symbol, so the same sensor works in a pro or non pro. Just different covers.

    Welcome!
I went from the Limited grill, to a painted Limited grill, to the 2014 TRD Pro grill with a sensor relocation bracket, and then finally went to the 2019 TRD Pro grill.

I'd say your best option is to get the 2019+ TRD Pro grill with the OEM sensor cover. It's pricey, but it worked the best for me!

Thanks for all the feedback, I just didn’t want order a part that doesn’t work. I’ve already made a mistake with that. I’ve ordered all the oem parts. I’m sure it’ll work the best. I’ve already outfitted a gen 2 tundra. I think I caught the tundra bug, because I couldn’t think of another truck to replace my last one. Had to buy another one.
