With the warmer weather (and the windows open), I just noticed a 'tsk tsk tsk' sound coming from my RF wheel (one 'tsk' per wheel revolution). It kind of sounds like something rubbing up against the brake shield, but I don't think that's the actual problem.

I jacked up the truck and pulled off the wheel, and the wheel hub & rotor turns perfectly, with no noise. With the wheel back on, spinning it in the air, still no noise.

There are no rocks or other objects in the tire tread.

So the noise only presents itself with weight on the wheel. Any ideas? I'm going to rotate the tires in a couple days, to see if that makes any difference.

My guess is something in the tire. If not a rock, then a piece of metal embedded in the tread that is not easily seen.

    Good Luck.

Had this issue... turned out my TPMS sensor had a piece of broken plastic inside the tire.
